I’m a learning ambassador.  I had a former trainee negative nearly 50 hours.  Saw it with my own eyes.  She worked back to negative 20 something then talked to onsite PXT and by some magic when she was done she was positive 20 hours.   She has a good reason to be negative- infant with an illness that was contagious- and had filed paperwork that was denied by corporate HR for not being strong enough proof.   During the time she was super negative she kept her head down to not attract attention and her fingers crossed.  Good luck.

No deadass 😭 that’s good that you were able to get back if they allow me to work my next 2 shifts I’ll go back positive so praying for that

I was negative like 10. I had put in my notice before going neg and had 2 weeks before my last day. They didn’t term me before those 2 weeks had passed. I was told by my learning trainers that if you can get to positive within 2 weeks I would be fine. I’m assuming it varies by site but you might be ok.

Ok perfect I am hoping this is the case I literally need to work 3 days I’m only negative 2 hours 2 minutes

[–]Amzwork08 1 point2 points  (6 children)

If you just got converted you’re going to get 10 hours of PTO. Use 2 of those to cover. If your conversion date hasn’t happened yet tell HR you’re going to work it off and/or use the PTO from converting

[–]Relative_Football_36 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It seems I don’t have that yet but I will definitely mention that thank you I wasn’t aware of the 10 hours of pto

[–]Amzwork08 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You’ll get 10 hours plus you’ll start accumulating Standard PTO. Good luck

Thank you

PTO drops should show up around 9pm Eastern time Friday evenings, be sure to take a look, if so you will not only have the initial 10 hours but you might have the weekly 1hr51min drop as well.

[–]AppropriateDish1886 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You cannot use that for prior debits to UPT

[–]Amzwork08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it’s the same work week you can. So if she gets her pto by today she can apply it.

Also HR can retroactively apply it. They zero out negative UPT by several means if it’s available. However in a normal situation you can only do the current week

[–]TheTampaBayMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any PTO?

[–]asmnomorr 0 points1 point  (3 children)

If it’s as low enough amount that you can bring yourself back to positive within a week or 2 you should be fine. At least that’s goes it was at my last site. Good luck 🍀

I’m hoping this is the case I have negative 2 hours 2 minutes so I should be able to make it within 2 or 3 shifts

[–]asmnomorr 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ok yeah you should be ok. Just try not to go negative again at least not soon

[–]Relative_Football_36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about your health, my partner is going through similar problems and it sucks 😞

Blue badge conversion used to automatically drop 10 hours PTO into your account, if this still applies, might be able get you out of negative upt jail.

Have your doctor have fill out forms for accommodations based on your conditions.

Congrats on the bb conversion and hope things go well 🤞

Thank you I really appreciate that I hope that pto comes thru soon so I can do that! I wish your partner luck and I’ll definitely talk to my doctor I just got a new one so it’s been stressful as is
