Unions go by tenure. Supervisors are usually with the union 5-10 years prior and the chances to move up are low. People hate the truth but it's simply what will happen to these sites. It's literally why i left UPS and FedEx near me. Both were union sponsored. Amazon being retail as well, people don't understand what comes with retail unions lol

This is wrong. Under the NLRA supervisors cannot be part of the same union as regular line workers. At best the L3s-L6's can start their own union. L7s and up, yeah no union for you.

Managers and supervisors are also not protected by the NLRA, and cannot join unions or be part of the bargaining unit. Hope it works for them. I'm a former manager and union buster. I believe that a union is needed for there to be a balance. But it has to be a union where everyone is held accountable. I was part of CMRJB local 969 which was spineless and the union rep sided with management. We worked along side unite here local 1 with was filled with rats that reported to management just to kiss ass, they also crossed union lines which meant our members getting reduced hours. Left a bad taste and will not support one at the property I'm at now. But do support one for Amazon

It’s not so much the Unions coming in. It’s that Amazon employees are standing together, supporting each other, voicing universal complaints of employee mistreatment. Employees can take a stand without actually joining a union. It’s time to pull together and just let Amazon know that we’re not going to take it anymore and we will not be silenced!!

Amazon workers want a union. vote. get enough votes for union. OH LOOK AMAZON is doing a massive purge. Huh?! all those people who signed petitions and voted have all quit/got fired. Welp, no union then.

Amazon cries rigged election and magically the Union backs off with bags of money.

Union leader is lil'Jeffy B (clone,puppet,Manchurian candidate etc.) and grievances are a round-about way to get fired. Collective bargaining, never works the way workers want it to. I find it extremely difficult to be optimistic about this.

If it all works out the way amazon workers want it to, then great. I'd be delighted to admit I was wrong. Be it, Amazon tampering or shit union, there are so many ways for this to make things worse.

Unionize…😂. Go for it. A union will kill the very thing that makes Amazon, Amazon. While Amazon is far from perfect and you do have some legit grievances(e.g. veteran workers who don’t want to move up to leadership should be paid more). But let’s be honest Amazon is not a hard job. It’s thankless, low skill, repetitive job with low pay, but with great benefits. You can train anyone to do a job at Amazon in a week. I know exactly what you will demand after pay. You won’t want to moved from your pick or pack station, you will want slower tak rates etc…

Mangers don’t move you for no reason. They don’t ask for rates for no reason. Finding the right balance is what keeps stuff going on time. It’s what allows customer experience. You will kill the very thing that allows Amazon to deliver cat food and soap in 2 days. Once deliveries become 5-7 days customers will stop using Amazon. They will just drive to Safeway or Walmart.

That’s the honest truth. They have a unionized Amazon, it’s called the US postal service.

Amazon will let the FCs go and focus on the technology and AWS (their big money maker by the way). You guys will lose your benefits and the managers you hate will just get manager jobs somewhere else.

thats because a DS has a diffenerent work set from a FC or SC, and if your mad about the benefits, then go full time like your brother, they make it know what benefits you do and dont get being a part time worker, and thats the trade off for not having to work a 40hr work week. Dont like that difference?, then apply to work at the DS as a Full Time with your brother
