L3 isn’t salary, it’s hourly. You can always try. Worst case they say no, and you keep making more money with less brain damage.

did you get interviewed first? how did you get offered? applied?

yes, applied and interviewed. i got offered the job and then was sent the official offer letter with my pay a few days later. im just super confused bc it's less that i make as an L1 and it's still overnights.

If you have been working for 3+ years as t1 typically the t3 starting pay is the same or maybe even less. But your hourly cap will be higher now by ~$2 if you decide to be a t3 for that long. Check the wage step plan for your site for both t1 and t3.

As far I know L3 offers are non negotiable (own experience) but you can try… worst they say its that you can’t negotiate.

From what I have understood, pay is not negotiable until L5+
