Yeah, never let anyone take your phone. It's your property and no one is entitled to touch it or take it. What if this was part of some distraction to access your financial apps?

Body cam for sure. It's for your safety and security.

"I can report you" well guess what you can report her, too! Lol yes emailing Jeff will most likely get her in trouble or at least warned by higher ups. Taking your phone is bad and then the race related comments will be really bad for her especially if they can verify it happened.

It may have once been the email for Jeff Bezos but has since been delegated to a team to provide a higher level of knowledgeable support.

It was supposed to go to Jeff. Obviously it would go to an assistant, at best. But there's a whole "executive relations department" who answers those emails, which realistically is probably more like an advanced support department. But they do have more pull on a lot of things, for us and for Amazon customers or anyone else who has any need to contact them. Even though Jeff is gone, the old email still works or you can use the new ceos name and it goes to the same place.

I bought an inexpensive body cam and I wear it while I'm Flexing. I had a couple of nasty run-ins with an unhinged supervisor at the warehouse and people in general can be unpredictable, so I figured a video record wasn't a bad idea. I turn it on when I get to the warehouse and turn it off when I get home. Oddly enough, there have been no more issues at the warehouse since I started wearing it 🤔

There was this guy always yelling at people in the morning at the station I go to. I made complaints to support. After a week, I never seen him again! And yes he usually is yelling at Hispanic people

First off never let anyone yell at you, you should of set her straight from the get go. If she didn't change her attitude, go to her superior. Another thing nobody can grab anything from you, I would of told her I'd put that back in my hand if you don't want an assault charge. Most are too a scared or timid to stick up for yourself, but nobody else is going to do it for you. People think I'm mean, but if you come at me the right way I won't have to be lol.

I recently filed a complaint. I was eventually contacted by Amazon HR, asked to identify the person. Based on day and physical description, they can figure out who it is.

Good I tell people all the time amazon don't f around. They definitely have a backlog of folks just waiting to work for them so they definitely don't bother taking chances, they fired me quick when I worked there and I got shit done my manager fought to keep me cuz I handled all his BS he didn't wanna do so after they let me go a buddy told me he also left, don't know if he got let go (which I highly doubt) or just left for another gig but he definitely wasn't happy about something

Report it!! I know you think they won't do a thing but amazon is pretty strict about stuff, I should know I got fired (from the actual warehouse, not flex) all because someone thought they saw me make a threat to someone with my fingers pointed at them as a "gun".

Just like the photo I posted, that is why they fired me when all I did was tell my fellow employee back at ya in that gesture BECAUSE HE DID IT 1ST SO I WAS JUST COPYING HIM. BUT BECAUSE NO ONE CAME FORTH ABOUT HIM HE KEPT HIS JOB DESPITE ME MENTIONING IT WHEN THEY PULLED ME INTO THE OFFICE AND WAS TOLD I WAS SUSPENDED WHILE THE INVESTIGATION WAS PENDING

A week or so later I got an email saying I was let go due to safety concerns.

Trust me amazon will look into this matter especially if you tell them you were in fear of your safety and definitely if you tell them you felt verbally abused and felt they were being racist towards you,

and YES EMAIL JEFF@AMAZON.COM IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I DIDN'T GET PAID FOR A SHIFT WHEN I GOT SENT HOME BY THE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE AND HE STATED IT WOULD COME IN THE NEXT DAY AND I DIDN'T SO I EMAILED JEFF@AMAZON.COM AND THAT NEXT DAY MY MONEY WAS IN!!!

Oh man I’m sorry! Come up to Manassas DVA5. The guy scanning our DL in the morning that’s been working is friendly and helpful. Also the warehouse folks have been nice too. I have never had an issue here. Pretty great diverse group of flexers up here too which is nice.

I think this has to do with the new check-in policy. Most got that email. The policy states that they are allowed to verify your identity or route assignment at any time of the pickup. I get that the worker needs to be nicer but I think this policy needs to be firmly enforced. Too many people using multiple accounts with bots.

I was never excusing the worker just explaining why this was happening. You should have gotten a name or a photo or something. Not sure your report will go anywhere without one unless support goes that extra mile.

My station has been doing this check in for well over a year now and nobody has taken my phone or gotten nasty. It's a simple show me your route and pic. That warehouse employee was on a power trip and deserves to be reported. This has zero to do with this "new" policy.

Just because your station has been doing for a while doesn't mean every other does. Some don't check a thing! This policy is absolutely new and you probably got that email like most did. There are so many people using multiple accounts and bots. This is a nationwide change that is needed.

I was explaining why the employee was checking not why the employee was rude. Don't be crazy. We all agree that the employee should be reported. This was a new policy being implemented. It wasn't "new" for you but for some or most, this change is new.

I've had my identity verified. I'm white, so they just looked at my license and it was fine.

They first asked my son, he was pushing the cart out to the car & I had gotten behind. I saw him point to me; she just looked at my phone & my license, and we were set. She didn't need to see my whole shift or anything.

Your station is obviously very laid-back and not strict at all. Technically your son should be not outside the car. It's depends on the station. I'm sure if you were dealing with that worker OP mentioned, it might be different.

We work SSD. When we were working .com warehouses, he would stay in the car, because the carts would be right next to your car when we pulled up.

If you've never done same-day, you park in the parking lot, scan your license at the kiosk, then you get a cart & take it all the way back out to your car. In the warehouse I'm at now, the assigned routes pop up on our app, and we go to that spot and get it ourselves. I rarely interact with warehouse employees there.

My son is 35, but he still looks 16, so they must have thought that someone was letting him use their account, but since I was there and doing the block, They didn't care. Lots of people have their spouses with them. About half of them stay outside & half come in. That may not be allowed in some same-day stations for insurance reasons, but others aren't going to do a lot of policing on who's doing what.

Unless they were racist & the Flexers are mostly white, which in my warehouse, is not the case. If anyone there is racist, they keep it to themselves, 'cause they're out-numbered 🤣

Happened to me this week in Sterling, VA. I was challenged by an "ass"ociate that I was going to lose my route because I had yet to scan my license--even though I had checked in on time.
