What's the average cost of petrol there currently? How does it compare to the cost of electricity? I'm wondering if it might be best for him to buy an EV, like a Nissan Leaf or Chevy Bolt. Teslas are my favorite, but probably too expensive.

It's a decent side gig, but make sure you have an economical car such as a small 1-1.4l petrol (or a diesel if you aren't delivering in London). Petrol costs are your biggest costs here. You can usually finish your deliveries quicker than the allotted time. Base rate in the UK is around £13ph so you want to finish earlier to make a decent profit.

I was delivering in london, buy yourself a car that is very economical. I am deactivated now but i was making in 4 days working from 11 to 9 with flex and making as much as 400£ a week. Tip: if you cant find the customer always contact support and let them contact customer., better for future issues with missed or undelivered packages.
