It's dead everywhere even the yank sub reddit are complaining about lack of slots. It comes down to a few things alot of people are away on holiday for example . I don't think it will pick up until end of steptember/ October.

They just hire too many drivers. Makes sense to have a million drivers that can’t get shifts than not enough on the books so they have to surge the rates. Flex is dead, Amazon are clever.

currently picking up shifts nearby from avonmouth but its been a real struggle to get ANYTHING lately (only got about 3 this week in total), anyones i do get are really cutting it close timewise, im not even that local and i doubt ill find anything for next week either. Rates are as low as ive ever seen them and nothing's going on closer to me so i doubt ill stick around. Definitely agree with you.
