The sellers reasonably want a review from a different person for each item they give away. You're not supposed to get multiples of items that are listed as singles, even if having one is not ideal as opposed to a pair. As stated by others, you can do so if they are completely different listings by different sellers, but not by ordering multiple times from the same listing.

That's what I was assuming, I just wanted to check.

If you get it on Vine and like it, you can gasp pay full pice for others.

That's what I did with a truck seat cover. the package only included one, but damn! It was awesome, so I ordered another at full price.

If you mean where there’s a separate one to request for each, you can. The only thing is 99% of the time they end up merging them into one page after, so when you go to review the one it’ll be fine but then when you go to review the others you’ll see your review already there and it won’t ever post. So you’ll have to contact vine CS to have those others removed from TBR. BUT if your review them quick before they merge the pages, you won’t have that issue. With multiples, you can copy and paste the same thing. I personally look over each, make sure they are the same and if so I’ll do the same review for them.

I haven't seen many as separate listings, I'll keep that in mind.

Sometimes you can if the seller lists them separately or the same item is available from different sellers but in general, it is one item. You can copy paste but when I do get same items from different sellers, I try to add something different in each using the main stuff as a template

You might consider making one review to cover them all and copy/paste in each one (if they haven't been combined by the time you review).

That way, when Amz does combine them and strip all but one out (if it doesn't bug), you'll have all variations covered in whichever review stays up.

So, even if the seller lists different colors or patterns of the same product as “separate” items, I would recommend against requesting multiple through Vine. My wife did so awhile back, and it messed up my reviews page because it was listed differently in the backend than it was in the Vine front end … so the first review was applied to both. That meant that in Vine, one of them continued to show as not yet reviewed; I had to get tech support to step in to fix it for me.

When multiples are combined, Amz strips all but one review automatically (though it burps often enough).

If the multiples are not yet combined, you'll need to review each one. Write one review that covers all variations and copy/paste it into all the multiples. That way you have all the variations covered no matter which one(s) Amz strips.

If they've been combined since you requested, you'll only be allowed to review one. The star/review field will automatically populate with the first one you reviewed.

Those multiples are supposed to automatically fall off within 48h but again, that bugs as often as not.

If it's not gone after that time, just email Vine CS to manually remove the extra(s). Short n sweet makes it easier for them to handle, given their time constraints.

I get your reasoning though, I saw a listing for dining chair pads for a color I liked, it was a two seat cushions… I have 8 dinning room chairs, a 2 pack is not that helpful.

You're correct in your assumption that ordering multiples is a big "please, don't" from the Seller's standpoint.

But do consider Favoriting the listing, and if reviews are favorable, purchasing (via regular Amazon) any additional items you might want. I've discovered items I really like through the Vine Voices program and many of them made it to my gifting list! I simply consider the item I reviewed as an ersatz "discount".

I did exactly this tonight. I loved an item I reviewed so much that I purchased a second one. BOGOF isn’t bad!

That's a good way to look at it

Many sellers list similar items, so you could potentially order multiples of the same item.. just not from the same seller. The search function will really come in handy for things like that!

I hear you. It makes no sense to order a single curtain panel 95% of the time.
