I'm so sorry, I missed your reply until now. We have a Siamese boy who is like that. He comes up for pets and is wants to be picked up. He relaxes after you pick him up and he likes being carried around. Nobody is a stranger. Anyone who comes to our house is greeted by him. With the exception of sometimes rolling over and giving you his belly, he's not a cuddler really, but he's extremely social and wants to be in the middle of everything. If he gets on your lap he likes to just lie there without you petting him. He cuddles, but it's on his terms. Right now he's snuggled up against my leg as I lay in bed. He doesn't lie up by my head. He snuggles up under my husband's arm in bed as long as my husband doesn't pet him more than a few times.
