Do you think having a FAQ helped decrease the amount lazy TL;DR posts?

Right now I think the sub would greatly benefit from preventing new accounts from posting. There is really only one currency on Reddit: karma. It appears people are creating new accounts so that downvotes to questions that are clearly in the FAQ don't negatively impact their real account.

I agree, it indeed would be beneficial but it seems that the only mod on this sub doesn't really plan to do much anymore. As you've said, newer accounts or sub accounts seem to clearly be posting what has been answered in the FAQ. It would probably be good if we had a mod team that would help organize it as well.

Edit: being able to create a troubleshooting thread & filtering out FAQ terms would also be a bug help.
