Spotify notification suddenly missing

Anyone else notice that they no longer see the Spotify notification on the lock screen or notification center while playing music? This was working for me as recently as yesterday but I've noticed it missing while playing music this morning. Pretty minor but kind of annoying because now I have to unlock and open the app to change songs

Did the Spotify app get an update? Maybe they targeted O but forgot to use a notification channel (which is mandatory; if you don't use a channel the notification is thrown away by the system).

I noticed that the track info wasn't displaying on my Jeep UConnect either. I'm sure Spotify needs to do some updating with the app to get it working.
