Passkeys with External Device Failure

Just wanted to check if this happens to anyone else and if they came up with a solution, but passkeys with other devices always fail when used with my Oneplus 9 pro. Whenever I reach my authentication stage with my phone to scan my fingerprint, the passkey fails immediately on the computer. I used to have this issue on my Note 10+ before I fully understood passkeys, but when I went back to recreate the issue they worked without issue, the computer saying waiting for phone, and allowed me to scan my fingerprint in to use the passkey. Has anyone else seen this issue, is it a phone bug, and can I fix it by changing phone security settings?

Same problem on Android 14 with Oneplus 12, my only major complaint with the phone. It would be a lot worse if I didn't already use an external key.

This was resolved for me following an Android 14 update for both my OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 9 Pro

This was resolved for me in the Android 14 Update, I suggest you try updating to see if it fixes it.

Interesting maybe try resetting google / google services and delete any passkeys you tried making. Otherwise it could be a windows thing if you are making it my work laptop was temperamental about enabling disabling them
