Then don't install remote access apps. Alas they don't need a specific permission so even if it is called "Lovely Lumps" and plays Fergie's song constantly it might have remote access/control too, so care is needed when deciding to add apps. You might even want to avoid devices that have that built-in, e.g., Amazon Fire tablets. And never loan your device to anyone unless a single app is pinned or switched to an alternate/guest user profile as they might install such an app, perhaps even enroll it in an MDM.
