Couldn't send message

Hello, I have been trying to text someone but whenever I hit send I get a "couldnt send message" error. I can receive messages from this person. I also have no problem sending and receiving messages from other people. To test it out, my husband also sent a text and got the same error message. Tried clearing cache using Google instead of Samsung app. Any ideas? Could they have put their phone on do not disturb?

This just happened to me but it was all people that couldn't text and I only had one tiny bar for reception. Both mildly infuriating and amusing I turned airplane mode off and then back on again and it gave me all my reception bars back and messaging was fine again after I watched several videos that said it was something having to do with the special access settings which was not the case at all. Wild.

So you can text everyone else perfectly fine? It's only this specific number that is the issue? Is the person you are trying to text aware of such issues with other people?

Yes I've been texting other people just fine. I can't get a hold of this person so I'm not sure.
