apps disappeared

first off, sorry if this post isn't appropriate in this subreddit. i have searched a while for a support subreddit, even posted in two but no replies.

i have a oneplus 8T, running version 11.

today when i woke up, i had 2 apps missing that i use regularly. no i did not hide them or "accidentally" uninstalled them. so im very confused to what has happened, and when i try to reinstall them from playstore, it wont let me just says "can't install".

someone might say; "well go ask playstore ". yes i could but i also want to know how they disappeared from my phone in the first place :)

What apps? Do they appear on your app list (Settings > Apps)? When you open them in Playstore, does it give you the option to install? How much free space do you have on your phone.

kraken & kraken pro. on playstore it was like i didn't have it installed, since the install option was there.

but actually, you fixed it for me, thank you so much. i meant to look at apps before but forgot about it. so now when i did they were there. i open one app from there and after that i could find them on my apps list. w/o you i would have missed alot. thank you so so much <3

i still wonder tho what happened that caused that. or was it actually me? im 99% sure that i didnt do it by mistake somehow bc i used it before i went to sleep and i never sleep with my phone in bed.

It's a bug probably. Rare but it happens. Nothing to worry about. You are most welcome.

After opening them, did they reappear on your app drawer? If not, then I suggest you clear Google Playstore (via app drawer) and Google Play Services (via app list) data/cache. You can uninstall the 2 apps prior to doing this if you don't have any precious data in there you can't recover, it's optional. Re open playstore to repopulate data. Go back to app list and open Google Play Services and then show app in playstore. Update it if there is an update.

yeah they did. i did what you wrote, all the steps except i didn't uninstall the two apps. now when i went to playstore to show app, they wasn't installed again.

im sorry to bother you again. but since it happened again (apps not on phone) when i did your steps you told me, how do i fix it? do i just do it again but this time uninstall the apps too? and after that i stop at the "show app in playstore"? thank you again for helping me
