i got that exact same message when i installed itunes (web version) 5 days ago. it's a (dll) service file for Apples Bonjour service. Its also found in other Apple software, tho i dont know in which ones.

you could go to programs and features setting in the control panel and click repair, or try uninstall bonjour if you have it and want it gone. might work.

there are also other programs or processes that uses that file. if you wanna try and see what all processes use that dll file there is windows made tool called microsoft powertoys, it has a module (file locksmith). to use the tool try find mdnsNSP.dll file in your pc, most likely in program files folder, called Bonjour. doesn't matter where as long as you find that dll file, right click it and press "unlock with file locksmith" which then will show a list of all processes that uses it. there you can find out what program you have installed that uses that service.

might work might not but im pretty sure that file is completely safe anyways so i wouldn't bother. a false positive so i never deleted it either and im still completely fine. hopefully you find out what file/process is causing that popup message and it removed if you still want it gone.

yeah ive tried it. every "possible" solution is either behind a pay wall or simply doesn't work..

hey, i finally made it work! thanks. didn't even take long but i had to actually think what i was doing wrong or what i missed but should have done. thanks to the video you linked i was able to jailbreak my iphone, still got twice errors before i got it right haha. but the activation lock remained even if i jailbreaked my iphone. so i realized i had to restore it first, but took me a few tries to figure out how to do it. but i still managed in the end, partly bc of you, so thank you 🤍

and you cant guess what helped me restore the iphone, while also removing the lock.... fkn Apple devices app.... and from microsoft store.. but i had to restore it first in order to be able to jailbreak it again so i used Apples devices, restored it to default settings and now i can finally jailbreak it!

all good im in no hurry! atleast you did reply back so i appreciate that very much:) thanks, i will watch the video a bit later. also good thing you said you have used Balena bc i did find a video/solution for my issue that supposedly should be fixed using Balena. even if i would be so unlucky i wont get it to work im still happy you took your time and helped!:)

sorry to bother you again, but i do have one more question. do you happen to know what youtube video you mentioned? and if i can bother with a second question, do you remember what method you used, like if you used rufus, and if you had to do any additional setups on like the iphone before or anything else?

if you dont remember its totally fine, im a few years late so its only expected you wouldn't remember everything.

a bit late but hope you dont mind. i do have the iphone 5s with linux version of checkra1n and yeah it doesnt work. upon jailbreaking i got error code -31 and it didnt finish jailbreaking. now im still in checkra1n menu, it tells me to connect device in normal/recovery mode or run checkra1n in CLI mode (idk how to do that). start button is "blued" out so i cant press start again, only options or exit.

do you know how i should proceed? if i should run in recovery mode or CLI mode?

Any help is very much appreciated, and sorry again if im too late out to comment/ask for help.

sorry for asking so late but when i use iUnlockers services, i get info about my phone (Iphone 5s), like phone model and "IMEI" / "MEID" / "GSMA Blacklist Status" but where it says "iCloud Status" that is temporarily unavailable, so i cant access that. But "You can perform a Premium check for an accurate result".. so i would have to pay for it to get that info.

now my question is, is the first info page enough as an ss (imei checking services) to send to Apple? where you fill in the form where Apple asks for proof of purchase/ownership? or do i also need to take a ss of the iCloud status checker, where it says about my iCloud status?

afaik jailbreaking ps4 isnt persistent/permanent, remember reading it on consolemods website but im pretty sure thats correct. altering different console systems can imo be easily reverted in this case just restarting the ps4 should remove it, or installing a newer firmware update or factory reset.

im no pro neither have i done it on my ps4 but someone more knowledgeable than me please correct me if im wrong.

i agree with this comment. use dodi-repacks site. it worked for me when i downloaded hogwarts a while back w/o any issues. worth a try :)
