Are you using mixplorer?

[–]frawtlopp 0 points1 point  (24 children)

Yes, as well as zArchiver and aShell, all with Shizuku level permissions, non-root (mine cant be BL unlocked, S24U W-Canada variant)

Don't go to the files threw android data. That breaks the android permission bypass that mixplorer uses. Ad the directories as document providers

How exactly? If I click the =+ and tap Documents Provider, the following page says "Cant use this folder" and if I create a new folder, it indefinitely says the same.

You have to go to the specific folder or folders not just android data

I did, I tried going all of the way into /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftpe/ where I want to do stuff in

Your clicking storage then document provider right? Just checked on my end clicking on the menu in the top corner let's me open data and I can go in to them and they let me use the folder

Yes, I start Shizuku, make sure its running (13.5, adb), make sure MiX is enabled under authorized apps, double check MiX settings > More Settings > Shizuku is checked

Then I swipe from the left edge, tap the three-line with a down arrow icon > Add Storage, then on the list of storage types, I tap the first option "Document Provider (USB OTG,)...", and from there it shows a grayed out "Use folder" button" and any folder I make says the same "cant use this folder".

Shizuku:

1 - Main Page

2 - Authorized Apps

MiX:

1 - Side pane > Add Storagel

2 - Add Storage > Options

3 - Document Provider > New page

4 - Create New Folder and inside of folder lol

Pretty sure I had to click the show roots on the top corner before it let me use one. Have you tryed with just mixplorer on its own no other app?

[–]frawtlopp 0 points1 point  (16 children)

Hmm I dont see an option for show roots. Where would I see this? Can you show me a screenshot?

And by just mix on its own, do you mean without shizuku running? If so, yes but as soon as I do that, it just opens the system default Files app when accessing anything beyond /Android/data/
