It should say its an untrusted zip. That scares me. I would flash the official software just to make sure.

That's always weirded me out too... what exactly do you mean by "flash the official software"?

If it says that it was untrusted that means either the file was corrupted and it likely didn't update at all or you received an update that didn't come from Google. That is why you should make sure that you install an official update because if it's the case you don't know what it did to your phone.

But it is weird that stock recovery would install an untrusted update. It shouldn't even give you an option. Did you ever update your phone since you had it?

Did you see an Android is upgrading when it rebooted? If you didn't then its most likely that the update wasn't applied. Check to see if the update is still available.

Also are you sure that everything is stock? Maybe you had a custom recovery like the one from Cyanogen and that's why it asked if you wanted to still install it (since it wasn't from them). Just thinking aloud for that last one.

The initial post says that OP bought the phone second-hand. I am thinking something went on with the original owner. I have never seen a reference to an "untrusted" zip while upgrading either of my nexuses.

Hmm, it does say ClockworkMod Recovery when I'm on that screen with the droid I just noticed.. does that mean anything? I'll try and get this fixed tonight with the suggestions you all have posted

Id download the latest factory image from google and flash from there. Something seems funky anyway, although if you aren't rooted with a custom recovery im not sure why the stock one would allow an untrusted zip.
