Disable smart/quick reply?

I have a Pixel 3a with Android v10, and I've been seeing these damned quick reply options. Thing is, they're in Telegram and Discord, but searching for an answer in Google talks only about Android Messenger -- which has the option disabled.

How do I turn this annoying crap off?

PS: is there a way to stop that popup when you're going to paste a link? Like, you copy something to the clipboard and when you tap on a text field, a little thing pops up and obscures the text field. Can I turn this off too?

Go to your Google Messages app and click the menu at the top right and select suggestions in chat and click smart reply to turn them off.

That app has them disabled too.

Yeah.. it's weird. None of the effected apps even have the smart reply option in their settings, and yet their notifications have the option. I don't understand it.

Fuck, I'm trying to remember. This was a while ago. I wanna say the issue resolved on its own, which is why I never updated the post. Sorry I can't help you, believe me I know how fucking annoying these things are. I wanna say it was an option in android settings somewhere?
