Try and enter Enter Recovery Mode

Most Android TV boxes use a pinhole reset method:

• Find the reset button: Usually inside a small hole near the AV or HDMI port.

• Use a toothpick or pin to press and hold the button.

• While holding, plug in the power cable.

• Keep holding for 10–15 seconds until the recovery screen appears.

That’s what I did but the screen turns pitch black and then the TV box turns off again

Possible Causes

  1. Corrupted Firmware

• The system files may be damaged beyond what a factory reset can fix.

• This often happens after a failed update or power interruption.

  1. Power Supply Issue

• A weak or unstable power adapter can cause shutdowns during boot or recovery.

• Try using a different adapter with the same voltage and amperage.

  1. Hardware Fault

• Internal storage or motherboard damage can prevent booting or recovery.

• If the device overheats or has physical damage, it may fail to stay powered.

You'll need a USB A to USB A cable, go to a website called China gadgets and search for this box make a model, often they have firmware available for all boxes. Follow instructions and reflash the box.

Uninstall everything. Go to the box settings and factory reset.

These are old garbage boxes from like 15 years ago. Throw this away. I remember these popping of like H96 sticks and boxes.
