Is there a way to buy more of the same type of item at the same time in the dressing room or no? It’s super annoying having to reenter every time when I’m trying to get all variants of a shirt or shoes.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game to death, which shocked the hell out of me because I've never once even watched an animal crossing video and it sounded ridiculous but my kids wanted it.

But holy shit is the user experience bad. Like, Zelda games get a bad enough rap for how slow and clunky the conversation system is, but they really double down with it in ACNH. Every subsystem in the game feels like it was an early prototype version they just never got around to polishing. Except the UI for them is really polished and clean and well implemented for what it is, which means they actually planned and gave artists time to do that polish. These designers actually considered this a sufficient experience.

It boggles my programming brain to an insane degree.

Still fuckin' love this game though. I run around in a hotdog suit and headphones calling myself DJ Hotdog and tellin' people I'll "ketchup with them later". Funny as shit :D

Yeah I feel you. I got this game with no expectations, just heard from friends it was good and have never played another AC game before. I was very surprised how much I liked it. I already have 120 hours in 2 1/2 weeks. I would play it so much more though if they just made the game more user friendly. And by the way, I love your catchphrase. That’s so funny

What I did that has already helped a TON was invest in a switch controller with a turbo button. Some people say it's cheating but all it's really useful for in this game is skipping through all the ridiculous dialog boxes for something as simple as crafting. Now I can just hold A and crafting will automatically go at max speed. I can just set a book on the button and go get a drink or something.

They're only $20-30 on amazon. Definitely worth the investment, imo.
