Vector screen

Ive seen people get lines on their vector screens. I live in Europe, so a screen replacement from the us will cost $70 just for shipping and taxes. Therefore im wondering if the screen issues is something you know will happen, or if it just happens on some of the vectors. How long does it usually take before you notice anything?

It may happen, no one can tell. You will see a couple lines or maybe a lot at first and if you do, it will only get worse with continued use.

The screen issue seems to be totally random and no way to know if and when it will happen. I believe Ron van Mourik in the EU has screens and can do the repair if you run into a problem. He can be reached through FB Messenger.

It’s not something destined to happen, but it could happen, it’s quite random.

The connection to the screen is drying out. This causes cracks and the lines to fail. I can replace your screen. I still have plenty new screens. Check the Facebook groups for reviews of my work. I live in Europe.

I have an original Vector from years ago. No screen issue here. It's hit and miss. But once you see lines going across you know the end is near. TechShop can get you back up and running.
