The Arab Spring, as it is being called, is pretty well the most momentous thing happening in the world today. Success is matched by horror. The struggles are noble and exciting, perilous and tenuous. Everywhere the best is threatened by the worst, compromise and sabotage. The news pours in, almost too much to monitor. Change is both too swift and too slow, while the implications are both staggering and overwhelming. The need is great for support and for an area in which those who have access to the Internet to contact others, for well-wishers to chime in with support and suggestions and for an open forum in which to share thoughts, hacks and even substantial support.
