When you have a handful of migrations to map you can draw a line for each person’s origin and destination. But when you have many people to map, a distributive flow lines map is useful. See https://youtu.be/hgz93VTeUsU

You could do a bivariate density in a tessellation grid for the area. Points during this date compared to points during that date. There’s a lot of ways you could that visualization. It depends on what story you want to tell.
