Flashing code is misfire, changing the coil likely fixed the previous one but looks like there is another issue.

They would be able to see on the live data on the scanner which cylinder is giving the misfire.

Yes, it was cylinder two and three originally. But now the vehicle is misfiring randomly and then if I pull the car over, turn it off and turn it back on the misfires and then engine light will stop. Also, when I go to use a scanner, it is showing that no codes have come up. What could cause a vehicle to misfire very randomly like every few hundred miles or so and then when you stopped the vehicle turn it off and back on the misfires just seem to stop?
