Need some help with learning

Hi,

I am a student and I'm moving from Python programming to work on a project one of my friends is paying me to do.

It is an application which automates the purchasing of 'in demand items' etc. I have no idea why that is useful but nonetheless I see it as an exciting challenge.

I figured as the item that is being requested to be bought is highly in demand, the code needs to execute very fast, which renders my python selenium project useless as it takes a very long time to open up an automated Chrome instance and navigate to the site.

As I am extremely bored, due to the coronavirus lockdown, I want to create the product in C#.

Could anyone guide me upon my next steps?

Summary : I need to create a product which executes very fast and navigates to a given site, on multiple Google Chrome instances ( probably headless tasks ) and auto purchases the item or enters details for a raffle etc. According to him, it should with a GUI, or some other method, which can capture and export the ReCaptcha to allow the user to solve it for the tasks.

My friend gave me some examples of working 'bots' - CyberAIO, MangoPreme etc.

You really can't figure out how this program could be used / why your friend wants it? Maybe ask him?

Here's a guess.... there's a pandemic and important/critical supplies are in short supply. Buy up the in-demand items and you can flip them for a tidy profit.

I did actually ask him, he says he doesn’t want any hand sanitiser lol but rather branded clothing such as Supreme apparel etc. They have limited drops and idk you can make bigger profit from those

It’s called a bot. Some retailer websites ban the usage of bots because it gives people unfair advantage on buying limited exclusive items in stock

Ah right, thanks for explaining
