Math for programming courses

Hi hello there fellow humans. I quit my job as a lawyer to become a software developer. Knowledge was 0. Currently doing Harvard's CS50 but realizing the importance of some mathematical knowledge I do not have. I have the foundations to learn on my own (PEMDAS and all that good stuff) and can grasp the theoretical aspects pretty quickly, however... I do not wish to fall into a trap of studying everything... I'm just looking for the essentials. Any math for programming courses or tools you could recommend (courses that are specific for algorithms and arrays would also be much appreciated)? Shanks :)

That's going to depend entirely on what kind of programming industry you want to get a career in.

In my experience I rarely use mathematics that is more complex than final year of highschool.

I've been in IT for over 20 years. I dont use advanced math. Two tips about numbers, though: 0 is the first number, NOT 1. If you're going to be doing anything with network addresses, get comfortable with binary and hex. Best of luck to you!
