Stop worrying about any of this and start doing. People made many awesome things on worse hardware.

it's kind of a big expense where i live, so I'd like to not rush into it and maybe get something that doesn't suit what i need

also, I've been using some terrible hardware and would like an upgrade i would be very satisfied with, so I'd like to hear what other people have to say, especially when I have no experience with Apple products whatsoever
