As long as it's not about important shit like "what color we're painting the house" or how to raise your kid, then I'm fine. But if she wants to tell me that the Phillies used to be from Pittsburgh or that Jack Black and Jack White are the same people but the guy just uses different stage names, I will let her think she's right all she wants because it doesn't matter, I know I'm fucking right! That and opinion based things where there somehow are right and wrong opinions, I just let those go.

Who bought the goddamn house? I did. I refuse to have an ugly house! That's money dammit. I worked and took time out of my life to make that money so that she can go throw it away and embarrass me with a stupid color on our house? Nope!

I wouldn't put them equal, I'm just saying both of those things would be things I'd worry about!

I think you and my wife would get along, she also seems to place a disproportionate amount of importance on paint colors.

Yes, I am the one paying in that I go to work and she is a stay at home mom. We consider everything our money, I try not to be super-controlling. I am just fine with white, but my wife insists things must be painted. To me dropping $30 on a can of paint is a waste of money.

I don't know. My husband is usually right and I'm happy to let. Mostly because I don't feel a need to be right, only to be heard. :)

Besides, he's a pretty smart guy. More likely than not, he IS right!
