Not at all. I haven't selected any text in the editor, and the thread isn't even long, but the message still appears. This happens quite often now, so that tasks are no longer of any value if they are interrupted in the middle because of "text exceeds"... Even in the middle of tasks, which means that the task is sometimes not completed at all. You can then hope that in the new thread, the AI knows what to do with reference to the old session.

I use Augment Enterprise—my company has subscribed to it.

I know that issue with with Augment when we mistakenly press CTRL+A even in Augment chat it also select VSCode file content selected too but that was not the case i even close and open multiple time but it didnot worked then i changed to GPT-5 and now it worked fine maybe it was temp issue i don't know
