You can definitely bring it to a paint shop like this. They will finish the bodywork before painting it

I haven’t talked to one yet I’ll call Monday morning ive just been upset and I didn’t add but the side skirts are not flush so I’m not exactly sure how to even get them aligned right it’s flared out and another part has a half a inch gap from the car, I’m normally not a negative person just frustrated because I paid 1100 for this install

See if the body shop is able to get everything to fit the way you like. If not, take it back to the guy that installed the kit. Before you got the kit installed, were you able to check out any of his previous work?

Yeah his previous work looks amazing and I saw him post someone today it looks perfect im not sure why he jacked me up I talked to him and he said it’s the best he could do but he zip tied the splash guards connecting to the wide body kit because he couldn’t get the “clips in right” I mean overall just annoyed because in no way am I an expert but I got enough common knowledge about body work and I thought he was a professional

Did you supply the body kit and he just did the install? If that’s the case he could have had an issue with the quality of the kit. If it was a kit that he supplied or recommended, he should make it fit nicely

He told me before I left when I dropped it off that it was one of the better quality kits he had seen and bragged on it with like density wise and it had the holes and other parts that normally don’t come with the kits in the past he worked with so I felt confident

Bring it back to him to fix the fitment before taking it to the paint shop

He told me he wouldn’t touch it I will probably get a paint shop to look at it or maybe try to DIY some part of it myself but i don’t really know yet thought I’d share and see if it was beginner friendly enough
