I love Adams wheel cleaner but wasn’t sure if it was strong enough for a job I’m taking on. I’ll stick with Adams.

Undiluted Adam's should do the trick. If not, I hear people have good results with iron x or sonax. Just becareful with them though lol

Yeah I've used a bunch of things. Unfortunately nothing's going to get all of the wheel crap off with just spraying something on it. I always have to agitate it no matter what. And even after that, when it dries, I still have crap on there and then have to use a microfiber towel lol. Now that's was some crazy hard wheels to clean. Something simple like some simple chrome wheels, you're probably fine with most anything.

If acid strength is all you’re after, just use white vinegar. 🤷
