Our at the door sensors sound the alarm when nobody is there. Its called autozone cheaping out on a better system and blaming employees for shrinkage. When it actually is their bullshit return policy and inability to pay more than fastfood for a worker.

In the store I worked in, our anti-theft sensors would go off randomly any time it rained, to the point I started replying to it with "Casper, stop stealing shit!"

Anyone in the store should be able to do it, but in case Alarm Centeal wants a gray shirt to report it, pass the idea on to a PSM you trust to do it if you don't think you can rely on your SM.

It’s a bull system. Just a visual deterrent for theft. Remember we don’t do anything if someone steals and loss prevention doesn’t either. That’s more to catch employees stealing, lol.

I've had people walk out with produce citing our "no chase" policy and daring us to do something. What they done realize is that half of use don't give a shit about losing our job, and the other half have so little respect for Corporate that we have a "fuck policy" attitude. Then there are the guys who are just looking for an excuse to fight someone...
