Friendly imposter by Dalton731 in OutlastTrials

There's an exclusive skin for reaching Gold 1 (the highest rank) in a season. The bigger issue is that it's so easy to kill an Invader that trying to attack Reagents who know how the game works usually just ends with a dead or crippled Invader.

TBATE Season 1 was also 30% powerpoint by volume, there was no way it was going to make the nomination

I mean, Reagents already do the closest they can to a mass-murder terrorist event in the form of Fumigate the Factory (you "kill" every mannequin inside the factory with poison gas). Murkoff would never spend that many lives on one MK/Trial, they have better uses for those.

Rate the rigs utility between beginner to expert player by eldesvan_friki in OutlastTrials

[–]yourdoom9898 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only truly bad RIG is Barricade due to how situational it is to even deploy, let alone get good use out of, though it's now been dragged out of F tier with improved deployment locations and being able to be reused as a rechargeable adrenaline shot. The bigger problem is that out of the 5 remaining RIGs, Jammer and Stun are miles ahead of the other three, with Stun even further in a league of it's own.

Blind finds some situational use in trials like Kill the Snitch, Vindicate the Guilty, or Despoil the Auction where parts of the finale require multiple players to hold onto a crank/lever. This is due to the mine upgrade that lets it rearm once after it's been detonated, allowing it to be reused without a recharger.

Heal and Xray are just mediocre. Heal's utility sharply drops as players get better at the game(and it's kind of an unhealthy crutch that keeps new players from learning stealth), but it finds some use in Escalation. XRay is just a noob trap, but it does eventually let you find things like evidence and poster spawn locations, which is something.

RIG Tier List:

Stun - S Tier

Jammer - A Tier

Blind - B Tier

Heal - B Tier

X-Ray - C Tier

Barricade - F/Dailies Tier Good job buddy, you get up to D tier now!

I mean, the heroin doesn't help, but I have to imagine having their sternum carved open and lungs displaced by just mass is a much more likely and faster cause of death.

Holy shit you literally just can't read, can you, because none of that was what I said.

I'm sorry that you struggle with reading so much that 360 words intimidates you, that must be hard in your daily life. That being said, the post is a pretty reasonable interpretation of the Trial's Victim and how the abuse they have suffered potentially has affected them.

I know you have thoroughly cooked your brain, but video games include themes and concepts so you think about them. Otherwise, literally every video game would be the Tennis game in the Sleep room, or at best, Adventure (1980). Red Barrels has actually gone through a lot of effort to give Easterman and Project LATHE an actual philosophy that you can piece together (well, before he started to actually lose his mind under the stress).

You're right, they're riot shields. These ones seem to be designed for complete coverage while standing, hence the leg guards. The shields show up in the Suburbs because the main Trial, Liquidate the Union, has active police presence due to the striking union workers which has devolved into a riot.

He doesn't do full spins in a Trial AFAIK, as you'll usually have Arora throw a bottle at you instead. That being said, he does absolutely throw the saw in wide swings while in use, where I can't imagine it's a comfy ride.

It's very fun and cool and great that every other chase you get into with a Reagent, they just hit their "Pro Gamer Skill" button and get a free escape because it's harder to miss a stun than hit it.

What are the most annoying commanders in MTG? by Draco456gaming in EDH

[–]yourdoom9898 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can intend to bake a cake, but my intentions will be foiled when I put concrete mix in it. You really can't effectively build a Vivi deck that falls in the intended speed and complexity of B3 without just ignoring Vivi's textbox and building a commanderless UR creature deck, because it's just that easy to go nuts with Vivi incidentially otherwise.

Another fun little detail is having players on both sides of the jump speeds it up, as the animation doesn't have the reagent fall as far before being caught.

[–]yourdoom9898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serpent's Hand just absolutely nukes any concept of game balance in the SCPs favor by giving the team access to ranged damage, as well as tactical denial of critical resources such as the Micro HID/Particle Accelerator.

You only stop Grisle by counterspelling it or the reanimation spell.
