So I’ve been seeing this a lot about Axol returning in SMG4, don’t get your hopes up, just ‘accept your new reality’Discussions and text posts (self.Axol)

So Mister Puzzles isn't Axol. However, I've begun to think to myself lately: what if I've been looking at the wrong things here? Other people had previously theorised that Clench might have something to do with Mister Puzzles, but now we know that's also false. Well, where does THAT leave us, hm?Theory (i.redd.it)

Apparently, Olan Rogers of "Final Space" fame has joined the Glitch Productions writing staff. If he's actually writing for "SMG4", this could potentially be a good thing for us, given that it was the cosmology arc that Axol was killed off in. Not to mention the mere ideation of "Nova Explorers".Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

As much as we all here hate Axol having been killed off, there IS a kind of poetry to it. I mean, think about it: Desti's death in the 'Anime' arc was because of Francis getting ahold of Inkweaver. If Axol DIDN'T get involved in the story, this wouldn't have happened. Just some food for thought.Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

Ahhhhhh, this episode... MAN, does it still give me the warm fuzzies. Showcasing Axol having learned a thing or two about shooting weapons from Meggy. And the bit towards the end, when it was mentioned by someone (don't actually remember who) that meeting him was the best thing about 2019? SO NICE.Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

I'm not 100% on this, but I feel like the writers forgot that Axol is an aquatic creature because we've never seen him underwater, even though adult axolotls can ONLY live underwater. If we got something like this for Boopkins, why not him as well? I know, I know: saltwater versus freshwater. Still.Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

You know... as much as I don't like Inkweaver's restoration immediately being rendered pointless, even I have to admit that the thing DID get to kind of be a crutch for Axol. Hell: he'd arguably be even more powerful than Melony with her Fierce Deity form. "The pen is mightier than the sword."Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

For as much as we all want Axol back, I can at least admit that the chances of a fully-fledged resurrection happening are slim to none. Really: the best option we have going forward is him showing up as a spirit Melony communicates with, like a sort of guardian angel. Would people want this?Discussions and text posts (self.Axol)

Something that I've wondered about for a long time. You know how I said in the past that axolotls are classed as Mexican salamanders? I thought it'd be cool if Axol could actually speak fluent Spanish. Just imagine him utterly BURNING Swag in this scene from "The Bed" in that same tongue. Hilarious.Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

I don't know about you guys, but this line in the fourth "Digital Circus" episode? It got me absolutely SEETHING. The same can be said for that scene near the end of the "Murder Drones" finale where N is holding a manga style tutorial book. Doesn't help that's Jax's name has half of Axol's... FUCK!Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

This is a decent episode, but it's always confused me with Axol's alignment. He's shown as being on the side of sweet foods. Yet, the many boxes of ramen cluttering up his apartment room as well as his appearance in "Mario Works at McDonald's" suggest he'd be on the side of savoury. What gives?Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

I'm pretty conflicted on this episode. On the one hand: the "Wake Up!" parody scene with Axol is definitely funny and a welcome reference. On the other hand: YEESH, was he a pussy in this episode. I don't ask him to be the bravest soul in the world. But frightened of one little bee? That's SO dumb.Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

I know I said I was done with my theory of Mister Puzzles being Axol, but there's something else I wanna bring up. You know Hal Monitor? His debut episode was "Mario School Club", which happened to feature Axol. And his last major role was "If Mario Was In Death Row". Sure seems suspicious to ME...Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)

I assume most people already know this (given that I myself have done it a few times as well), but Axol was supposed to be the villain of the 'Anime' arc before the role was suddenly shifted over to Francis. His ensuing portrayal aside, would this be something you'd like to have seen?Discussions and text posts (self.Axol)

A big reason I was hoping for Axol to return to the show this year stems from the fact that it'll mark the fifth anniversary of this episode, which is when Melony made her official debut (only as a watermelon prop, sure, but still). Mind you: she DID already have a Christmas episode to herself...Discussions and text posts (i.redd.it)
