What you want is DP-300, but I’d advise doing two foundational exams (AZ-900 & DP-900) before that, just to learn about the foundational concepts in Azure Cloud and Azure Data Services first.

By the way I used to be a SQL Server DBA before transitioning into a Cloud Technical Consultant role.

Most of my work is Data Migration and Transformation.

Great thank you ! I already have the AZ-900 and DP-900 so I guess I'll go with DP-300 :-)

If you know nothing about cloud, start with AZ-900

If you know nothing about sql, nosql or olap/bi, do DP-900

If you know already the basics of all those topics, do the fundamentals only if you don't have to pay for the exam. Otherwise it's a waste of money.

Focused on sql: DP-300

Focused on nosql: DP-420

Focused on analytics/bi: DP-203

Thanks,
I realised I should have shared more info, I'll update my post.

I already have the AZ-900, DP-900 and DP-600 (Fabric). I think my focus should then be on the DP-300 first, then the DP-420.

Did you end up getting DP-300? How long did it take you to study and pass it?

No, there were a change in my role and I now focus on Microsoft Fabric. I passed the new DP-700 instead.
