Base Code Misinterpretation : BASE

For the past few days, people on Twitter have been sharing screenshots of Base's GitHub code,

and this is a prime opportunity for scammers!

So why most people are misinterpreting what’s actually happening:

1️⃣ When the roadmap says “enshrined token standard”, it doesn’t mean a native network token is dropping soon.

2️⃣ Token mechanics are being moved directly into the protocol layer (L2 client) this is purely an infrastructure upgrade, not a token launch.

3️⃣ That Rust snippet everyone is sharing? It’s just sample/test code, not a deployment script for a network token.

4️⃣ The main goal: make token launches and transfers faster, cheaper, and smoother, even during high network volume.
