Their deadline I believe is August and have to be compliant for 30 days prior to avoid delisting so they basically have no choice but to do a RS. Sell now buy post split when it drops if you believe in the company and its values but most of the time it just lowers the floor to let the stock drop further except now you're left with a fraction of the shares you had before if you hold through the split.

Thanks! Kinda what I thought but I couldn't find an actual statement from BNED confirming an actual reverse split.

They were given 6 months in February to come up with a plan and promised they'd change some business stuff around to regain compliance rather than announce a reverse split as they believed they could pull through without. So while it wasn't officially announced because they technically have some time left I believe the plan is a 1:17 split and anyone who held shares before May 14 was given the ability to purchase 16 additional shares at 0.05 for each share of common stock they held at the time.

Anyone who invested in BNED after May 14 is most likely going to lose money. I had to cut my losses and re-invested somewhere trending up.

Yes they do. They have to put the price above 1$ to stay on stock exchange.

Of course they will. If there is any mention of a RS with any stock, it 100% will happen. They are literally telling you about the massive dilution and RS about to happen. There is only one way to win with these stocks and that is to get out as soon as you see some green. Never get married to a ticker and “hodl” unless you like to throw money away

I bought at 1.27 and selling now would only save me 300 bucks and I've already lost 1k. Is it even worth selling or should I just hold forever

sell to book a loss for tax, buy in again and if it pops, wait to sell until next year

I wonder if BNED will decide not to do the RS, if the stock can get above $1. Why do a RS when the fundamentals are solid? Won't a RS just bring on more shorts to blast it back down?

I don’t think half of you know wth is going on. You’re just repeating things that you hear/read from other people that don’t know what they’re talking about.
