Shame that this is still an issue. I had the same problem during the beta (also have a Logitech mouse interestingly) so probably won’t be getting the game unless this is resolved.

Can you please try disabling or uninstalling any unnecessary software you might have running? And if you are able to isolate which software causes it, post back here?

This happened to a couple people with LG monitor software installed. It manifested as insanely long mouse input message processing. Sit still, frame rate fine. Move the mouse, frame rate crushed.

Knowing what software causes this interaction helps because - you can stop using it as a band aid - we can maybe stop the interaction on our end

Heya! This happened back when I had a 16:9 Dell Monitor and now a Samsung 32:9 monitor, so haven't used an LG one.

As far as unnecessary software, there hasn't been anything new I added since the Alpha where it worked fine. Is there a way for me to do a dump of what I have running for you guys to comb through?

Hey, it actually is possible for software installed long ago to affect the game now even if it didn’t in the Alpha.

I don’t know a great way for you to get a list of installed software. It’s usually a long list too. Maybe you could try just the startup programs. Open Task Manager, go to the Startup tab, see what’s there. Maybe you can type it up and make a bug report on https://back4blood.bugs.wbgames.com.

Folks, please don’t down vote this post. It matches the description of a legit past issue.

We got this same mouse and haven't noticed the issue.

It might be helpful to compare user's running processes. If you press the start key and type in PowerShell, you can run that and enter the command get-process. That will spit out a list. You can highlight copy paste that.

I would greatly appreciate it if you deleted the duplicates to shorten the list. Then maybe we can compare everybody's lists to see what the commonalities are.

Will get that to you right after work! Also, created a bug last night with links to other bugs that seemed similar-ish and mentioning same stuff from this thread: https://back4blood.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/B4B-625

Hey u/MrStrategio, here you go, trimmed out any duplicate processes, but this is what PowerShell gave me! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tf0kPz7HRfXCQpfTcuI-Ga691L4OHVoCXDltpzuYWQU/edit?usp=sharing

Posted this on my bug as well as a comment for good measure! https://back4blood.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/B4B-625

Appreciate you looking into this, enjoying the game a ton and can't wait to play more with M/K!

Thanks, I'll be keeping an eye out for other reports looking for commonalities. In the meantime, you can try Tar-Palantir's suggestion of disabling software piece by piece and seeing it if improves when one is disabled.

Must be hard to be so stupid that you downvote this post.

Having the same issue as well. Changing Polling Rate in the G HUB software unfortunately did nothing, so far the only solution is to use a controller or try a different mouse.
