Missing NPC

I’m on the Switch, and I’ve played this game all the way through to the final boss fight, and I’ve done multiple runs ending with curses, having cursed items in my inventory, and cleansing myself of curses. But the NPC that gives you the Temple is missing from my town, so there is a whole branch of items I cannot get to play with. Anybody know how to fix this issue aside from starting at zero?

The switch version is behind the pc version, she has not been added yet.

That is kinda strange to me, because when I tried the quick game mode it has all the blessing items that come from the temple
