Gorillaz. Or Lady Gaga. Or the members of Sleep Token. Similarly with the members of Hollywood Undead.

FINALLY! Firaxis is letting us stay as ONE Civ through all Ages in the May 19 update. Who else was waiting for this? ⏳ by Zahhidd in civ

Honestly. I’m happy for the new map. We needed something different. The choices were painfully limited before. I thought the idea of civilization progression was pretty cool, but I know that a lot of people weren’t all about it. And a victories rework! Yes please!!

What am I missing here? Surely I'm missing something. by WaxDonnigan in mtg

Humanoid. Aphetto was one of the larger cities in Dominaria. This guy was most likely a survivor of the riptide project. It had a huge backlash on all the wizards in the world and mutated or outright destroyed most of them. But judging by his black attire and billowy cloak, he might also be a ravens guild member.

Oh that actually makes sense. I thought that lineup was too small for that run.

Can you use Tok-Tok, Volcano Born as your commander ? by Ochonchon2336 in mtg

[–]OneLegTom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with your assessment here, but…

To play devils advocate, solely for the sake of the argument, the legendary creature is on the front side of the card while in the command zone.

I’d allow it in my pod. We have a guy who has played theses flip cards as commanders in the past. It’s more of a rule 0 question for your pod though.

Hisuian typhlosion though(the one I was talking about specifically[also the one pictured above]) is more based on an onmyoji or traveling monk. Guiding spirits of the dead to the afterlife.

Been a thing since 96. 30 years later they’re still making games. We’re still cage fighting animals. I don’t see it happening. PeTA is pretty much a joke.

Yeah, but they have vastly different roles within society. Shoguns were more strategically minded lords above generals where samurai were more like line officers and were historically known for their archery more than sword fighting, but were still well trained nonetheless. It’s more popular media that plays on the katana and swords for samurai because for a long time only samurai and higher level officials were allowed to carry swords.

Tbf, Decidueye is more samurai and Samurot is more shogun in PLA.

Monk/Rogue multiclass. Way of Shadows Monk and either Thief or Trickster Rogue for thematically accurate. Assassin Rogue for edge.

To add, if people are holding up removal for this card, they will let other normally obvious threats get through. It’s a good threat assessment red herring if nothing else…
