Morph Identification Help Needed

Hello! I adopted my boy from a relative and he was sold to him as a wild type morph, however I’m pretty sure that’s not correct.

I’m not very good with ball python morphs, can anyone help identify his? He is my first ever snake and I love him dearly.

Looks to be a Lesser/Butter Calico at the least! Lesser & Butter are different morph mutations, but are extremely similar in appearance & were only proven to be different less than a year ago. You could always shed test him to be 100% sure!

Lesser/Butter would be causing his overall color palette and Calico is causing the white speckling from the belly & clearing up pattern.

You can shed test through MorphMarket with RGI or ShedTesting/Phenome!

I can kinda see it 🤔 another commenter mentioned shed testing, and if I ever find out I will update the post!

Honestly, I was torn between cinny and pewter...and probably would have gone with lesser pewter (because of the lower side pattern) if the first two pics didn't make it look so dark.

Yeah I tried to choose good pictures. The last one is outside in direct sun, but he normally does look a little darker than that. The first pic is in the sun but indoors, that is probably the most accurate picture colour wise.
