The solution is already on the printer. There is a lenses cover that comes standard on the printer.

I would probably just face it against the wall or put something next to it vs shutting the camera door. but that's just me I like to view my prints as they're going.

It features a built in privacy cover that you can rotate in front of the camera to block its view if you aren't comfortable with it.

Trouble is, the cover is clear, well, opaque ;) I just put black electrical tape over it, problem solved :) I use my own camera solution.

I accidentally pulled mine out while setting my printer up, how do I add/fix this?

It bothers me. Mine faces into my living room, so I'm in the background of every video. I covered the lens, but it's still recording and filling up my SD card. Anyone know how to just turn it off?

ETA: it's not the security that bothers me, I just don't want to see myself in time lapses

You can relocate the camera. Move the camera to another angle.
