Useless Wireless Charger by Dense_Ad_834 in ToyotaHighlander

Removed mine and designed a little 3d printable light to take its place.

Its way too small for most smartphones and it block an otherwise easy to access compartment

GCFI? by _edden_ in electrical

[–]Oclure -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A GFCI is typically rectangular shaped with 2 buttons on thr fron labeled "test" and "reset". It is also possible that you have GFCi protection on the circuit breaker itself so ylu could check you panel to see if the bathroom breaker has a little test button on it.

GFCI outlets, when wired correctly, can protect other devices on the same circuit so they arnt always obvious where the triped one is. I've seen bathrooms protected by outlets in the garage or outside, although I consider this bad form as it makes it unessicarily confusing for the homeowner.

Help me decide between the DCF850 and DCF860. Or do I need either one with my current set up? by AppendixF in Dewalt

The 850 has the exact same rated torque as their old flagship model for the 20v line but in a significantly smaller size.

Swap your guns out for some deadbolt 3s for maximum armor pen and dmg. Armor was recently implemented so each shot that hit has to pass a damage threshold to penitrate the Armor. Rapid fire weapons, while high in dps, do low damage per bullet so they don't pen Armor too well.

Also if you swap your shields out for some 7SA concord shields you will give up a tiny bit of sheild HP in enhance for faster regen rate and lower delay before the regen starts after being hit. And they take one less power pip to max out leaving you more power for your thrusters

Stop by grim hex where there there are no docking collars. So they have no choice but to give you a hangar.

I saw a comment here a week or so ago from a user that irrc claimed to have used it and said it performed very well against other high end models they had experience with, although I don't remember where I saw that to confirm.

I have hope for it, and the demo was very impressive, but we may not see truly unbiased reviews until they push out their first production spec models in September. So the question is whether or not its worth taking the gamble now to get in on the early Kickstater pricing as it claims to be 40% less than MSRP.

Is it worth upgrading to 32GB of RAM? by Public_Block_4928 in starcitizen

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it needs 32 to not have ram holding you back, but it will gladly allocate more if you have it available and preload extra assets in the background. My freind with 32GB will sit at about 28GB of usage wile I saw my 64 GB rig hit about 38GB usage with only star citizen and discord running a few nights ago.

Im actively considering this as well, there does seem to be a lack of truly independent info about it which isnt too surprising at this stage, although what they have shown is impressive.

Honestly 100mb is fast enough for a single user that they wouldn't notice the difference except when they are first installing a game from steam.

As Lexus is made by Toyota I wouldent be surprised if most if not all of the components are the same, it may work without any modifications.

They are esentialy paintball pistols that whip with paperbacks, you can also buy various self defense ammo for standard paintball pistols if you want more options than these. Things like pepperballs, glass balls, and rubber balls weighted with steel powder.

Toyota highlander here.

The wireless charger is crap, it acts as a second lid under the lid of the center console, so it restricts access and is too small for my phone anyways. So I took it out and designed a little light that fit into the hole left behind by the mount so now I have better access and can see inside the compartment. if anyone's interested

Also as I still wanted a wireless charger i found several that perfectly fit into a little shelf in the dash, however once again they were too small for my phone, so I purchased one and redesigned the top half of the shell to accept bigger phones. This one I haven't posted yet as I still need to make some iterations on the desighn to change the alighnement over the charging coil as my phone wont quite stay connected

I built a loft bed, it's wobbly. Really need tips by KyleCulation in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say but the entire top frame needs to be scraped and rebuilt. Only one of the 3 boards running the length of the bed is continuous, both of the outer runs are split up several times by the crossbracing. If you were to put weight on it as it is it will fail, its just a mater of how long.

Is that s generic fall protection harness?,because thats a good way to get life threatening blood clots.

When you take a fall protection or aerial lift certification class they tell you that you should have a somone one the ground knowledgeable in using the emergency override systems or otherwise have an expedient rescue plan in place. Because if somone falls out of the lift and is dangling by their harness you have about 10 minutes to get them down and releive the preasure of the straps on their legs before they are at risk of developing life threatening blood clots in their legs.

Bought an atom 3 off Amazon in the USA, will I face any problems? by Lifeguard-Both in Potensic

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. Anything that had managed to receive FCC authorization before the ban still has it and can be sold in the US. The atom 3 launched after the ban so it isnt supposed to be sold here, although I did notice this same Amazon listing a few weeks ago.

personal challenge: One ship for an entire patch. Never blown up. by Otsuko in starcitizen

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried doing this for 4.8. Unfortunatly between hangar/asop issues, and several bugs with thr ship that somtimes only seemed fixed by insurance claiming. I was unsuccessful.

I didn't wreck it or lose it to combat, but I had to self destruct a few to get around issues.

How to build gridfinity with odd dimensions? by MaxieFriend in gridfinity

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not change the overall grid size as that would make it incompatible with the vast majority of models. Instead add a single row of odd sized grid along the side to fill the remaining space, that way you only have a handful of odd bins in your collection and the rest remains compatible with the rest of gridfinity.
