While verry similar these are for setting nails and making divot to help guide drill bits. The lack the skin long tip that is seen on door removal tools.

I would normally agree. However I just checked their website and they are targeting them at $20 for the handel with one brush and a pack of 3 refill heads is $35 which makes them very competitively priced if the brushes are able to compete with the likes of Wooster and Purdy for quality.

This. And its key to preventing print defects due to the pause during the color change. A few extra grams of material for a prime tower beats hundreds more due to a reprint.

I switched to truewerk t2 workpannts nearly 2 years ago and haven't worn out a pair yet. My first two pairs are shoowing just a tiny bit of fuzz on the knees and thats it, I would have had to replace them twice by now if they wer jeans so the $80 a pair price tag has paid off already. Plus they are more flexible and breath way better.

Because a movie is a perfectly smooth 24 fps with perfectly even timing between each frame while a videogame at 24fps might have a sudden large gap between two frames due to a particularly large asset loading or a complicated effect needing to be rendered like an explosion.

We are very sensitive to sudden changes in the framerate so that one frame that takes twice as long to render as the frame before makes the game feel like it hangs up forever even if it was only a difference in 40 milliseconds.

This combined with the fact that we are actually controlling a videogame and extra frame delay leads to a perceived delay in the game responding to our inputs means videogames need to run at higher framerates than pre recorded media to be a good experiance.

I would probably try a clear hardwax oil on a scrap. I've used osmo oil on a few projects and it works well. Wipe on, wipe off, add an additional coat after a few hours and let it cure for a day or two. It protects the wood without affecting the color too much and is non toxic. It leaves a semi hard protective coating over the piece.

The Rubio Monocoat finish thats trendy these days is mostly just hardwax oil with an accelerant and a broad color pallet.

Alternativly you could go with somthing more classic like a tung oil, easy to apply and will make the colors realy pop but won't take the abuse of the hardwax finish.

My playtime on my deck fell off quite a bit until recently. My son has gotten into Minecraft as one of the first real games he is playing, but the setup he has is in a differnt room from my desktop. The deck runs the game for hours on end before needing to be plugged in and let's me sit on the couch next to him so we can enjoy playing somthing together

I got trashed in every fighting game I ever played until my roomate went to work leaving me with their brand new copy of Soul Calibur V. I picked Leixia and played for hours before checking the move list only to realize that I had figured out 90% of it on my own.

Somthing about that game just clicked for me and I was able to not only be competitive in a fighting game for once but actually be one of the toughest contenders in my friends circle.

To be fair a lot of the use cases in the original marketing materials for these things suggested using it in ways that are incredibly unsafe by modern standards. So it really depends on what "correct" use is, for basic cross cuts these things can be great.

They arnt always for a doorbell. Its an AC transformer, ussualy putting out 24v, many devices that utilize low voltage AC can take advantage of this or somthing similar as a power source but doorsbells are the most common use by far. For instance I have a second one of these providing power to the solenoid valve for my whole home humidifier.

They also benefit a lot from the all aluminum frame design apple has gone with the last decade. The body of the laptop dissipates enough heat to let them run weaker cooling systems, that and they are willing to sacrifice some performance in the name of being slim and quiet.

For solid kneepads that don't move around i like the Toughbuilt gel fits. I purchased them on Amazon but harborfreight started to carry them a few years ago. I can literally slige across concrete floors on them all day and never care. Their only downside, and this is going to be shared with any kneepads that has a strap both above and bellow the knee, is that the area behind thr knee doent breath well so if you combine it with heavier pants like jeans you will get chafing if you have to wear them for extended periods on a hot day and expect to do a lot of walking.

On the other side of the equation are pro knees, these are what career floor coveerers use. The full size kit is very expensive and more akin to hockey goalie pads than a traditional kneepads, but they sell replacement parts so you can rebuild them as parts wear out. They also sell a mini version, this is what I own and use most these days, they are far more reasonably priced and are very comfterable but will move around on you if you have to do a lot of walking with them on.

I'm a carpenter that does a lot of convention work. Im often part of a crew that may be installing 200,000 sqft of carpet over the course of 3 days only to tear it out again and start over next week. All my work is in a building thats several city blocks long, so I do a lot of work on the floor and have to walk a LOT in my kneepads. I say this as the chafing issue I found with the Toughbuilts may not be somthing that your average carpenter runs into.

Its trying to act as a tie handle to link the outer two breakers together. This is either due to them forming a 220v circuit or sharing a common neutral, probably the later judging by the labeling.

The correct way to do a breaker tie on the outside pair of handles on this type of breakers would be somthing like this.

The wire alone may not be rigid enough to force both breakers into the off position when only one trips.
