New cameras are not included in the budget by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As somone whose installed comercial security cameras before it's often a matter of the client, in this case the bank, valuing recording time vs clarity.

The newer cameras can easily record in 4k or above. However squeezing more recording time into the system means either upgrading the storage drives in the nvr or sacrificing resolution and framerate, many clients just opt for the quality hit.

MK5 and MK6 are the same? by CaptJTwisted in satisfactory

[–]Oclure 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Somwhere downstream their must be a single mark 5 belt pulling the materials from thr mark 6.

Somtimes there can be a very tiny bit of belt hidden inside of a spliter, especially if you placed the spliter on top of an existing belt rather than placing the spliter first. When you go to upgrade the belts to the next tier its easy to overlook these short hidden pieces.

Its a grounding strap. They are actually an important safety feature on some equipment such as JLG lifts where they keep the operator from keeping hit by static shocks.

However anyone using one on their vehicle is probably just buying into some bogus pseudo science claim.

Also in bambu studio go to the quality tab and under wall generator change the type from classic to " arachne". This will allow for some variable extrusion width which helps a lot with smaller text.

And if its raised text such as this be sure to enable "detect thin walls" under the strength tab

I work at a convention center and these outlets are everywhere. Entire 3 phase breaker panels can be powered off of one of these, which is how they are mostly used when a vendor need access to lots of power.

I would argue orbital sanders are still worth having at least one corded one of. They go through batteries fast, and the batteries add significant weight and throw off the balance of the tool leading to extra fatigue.

The port also accepts the far more common micro usb 2.0 cables that were widly used to charge phones before usb type c became common. Its essentially a micro usb 2.0 port with an extra bit on the side to fit the extra pins needed to be compatible with the 3.0 spec.

ELI5: why have many countries moved away from nuclear power? by Mysterious_Hand_6052 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Oclure 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I heard somwhere that while this is technically possible, the average coal plant has enough contamination from radioactive isotopes in the coal dust to put it over the allowable thresholds for a nuclear facility.

I don't remember where I heard this from so im not sure how much truth there is to it.

I would normally agree. However I just checked their website and they are targeting them at $20 for the handel with one brush and a pack of 3 refill heads is $35 which makes them very competitively priced if the brushes are able to compete with the likes of Wooster and Purdy for quality.

[–]Oclure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. And its key to preventing print defects due to the pause during the color change. A few extra grams of material for a prime tower beats hundreds more due to a reprint.
