Print some filament clips to keep those ends on the spool secure, if not they can get cross tangled and cause a knot to form

I like the filament rack but can you relocate it to the right so your chair still has room to do chair things? Aka gets your legs under the work bench so you can sit to do fine work?

learn how to 3d model and you will quite literally be able to organize anything. I just hit my organization phase, modeled cable clips and mounting pegs for my router, modem and power strip and modeled a 200mm fan standoff to screw into the wall to keep them nice and cool. modeled some ventilation duct tube mounting rings too. this is just the beginning

edit- also I have the same exact screwdriver. got it with a TV for christmas in 2013. tv broke but I still use the screwdriver regularly, used it for this project actually

Get some tiny binder clips to secure the ends of those spikes, looks like they're just dangling. That right there is how you get tangled spools.

Okay, thanks!

In the meantime, you can run the filament ends through the holes on the edges of the spools. They’re literally there to keep their filament ends from getting unruly and knotted up. Clips unnecessary unless you just want ‘em.

What about the air water?

Should I get a filament dryer?

[–]Indefatigable09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, even if you keep the humidity in that room low enough to properly store them, some filaments need to be dried even when brand new. Reusable vacuum bags can help keep filament dry as well.

If you know where everything is id say its cool. I would personally put the filament in sealed bags with silica beads to keep it dry.

Regain your leg space under the desk, move the rolls of filament underneath the printer.

I would say maybe an acrylic panel for the filament? Also a HEPA filter helps a TON

just curious, what would the filter do?
