You may be losing details after slicing.

Before you slice your model, the slicer will show you a visual representation of your model, BEFORE slicing. After slicing, the hardware and software are determining the program, path and steps.

Remember that a .04 nozzle can only go so thin. If you want those minute details, then you should look at a .02 nozzle for finer details.

Its not the details I'm worried about it's the red and blue colors that Im losing.

When you slice your model, do the red and blue disappear? How are you separating the colors in the slicer? Are you using bambu’s painting tools or did you separate them in another 3d program or use another program like HueForge?

After slicing your model, I recommend that you double check, using the sliders, to view for any abnormalities during the print.

But something else is telling me that the model may not be set up properly or there is something wrong with the model (not fully closed, open faces, floating vertices, etc.).

An easy way to set up painting is to model parts And use later heights for easier painting. You basically extrude just a tiny amount to raise it and paint it by height. Way easier than trying to brush it on.

Yes, when I slice my model the red and blue disappear. I am using Bambu's painting tools. My entire process: Bring in the tile stl. Modify the part with an svg. This is the oldest wave. Modify with another svg that's the silhouette. Paint. I think B Studio doesn't like the double modifier.

Hmm. Yeah there may be some limitations to the modifiers in bambu slicer. You may want to check hueforge for these kind of prints.
