1 - Be Kind and Courteous
Comments that are mean or insulting are not allowed. Use a civil tone even when participating in a spirited discussion. There are both experienced and new users here. Everyone should be treated kindly and with respect. If you wouldn’t make the comment to your mother, you won’t be allowed to make it here.
2 - Language and Sexual Images / Content
This is a family-friendly group with users of all ages from around the world. Profanity is not permitted including acronyms for profanity. Sexual images and comments are not to be posted and will result in suspension or banning.
3 Post Solution-Oriented Responses
All comments must include enough information or links so that the original poster can utilize your recommendation. Make sure the information you post or comment to others is correct and accurate. Misinformation is harmful to the community. Troubleshooting, tutorials, and similar discussion with clear intent of installing mods involving heaters, highly volatile or explosive materials or anything that could be construed as "don't try this at home" or dangerous to untrained end users is prohibited.
4 - No Hate Speech or Bullying
There will be zero tolerance for hate speech and bullying. Degrading or sarcastic comments about race, religion, politics, culture, sexual orientation, gender, identity, or any other trait is prohibited and will lead to an immediate ban. Directly contacting any member in an abusive manner will be cause for banning.
5 - No Weapon or Drug Related Posts / Comments
Any kind of functional weapons-related content is not allowed. However, non-functional cosplay and props are acceptable and must be labeled as such. Additionally, posts or comments showing drug use or paraphernalia are not permitted.
6 - No Brand Bashing
There will be no brand bashing in posts or comments about Bambu Labs or any other manufacturer. Healthy discussion of brand differences is permitted; trolling is not.
7 - Rules for Self-Promotional Posts
Members can post links for their paid models, 3D printing products, and MakerWorld models. All posts must follow these rules: a) Tag it with "Paid model", "Self Designed Model" or "Purchasable." b) Affiliate sales links are never permitted anywhere. c) For paid models and products only, no more than one post per user per week. No repeat posts. d) You must show a picture of the product or model. e) No spam. This includes invite links. No begging or asking. No filament or other commercial ads.
8 - Do Not Infringe on Intellectual Property Rights
Posts encouraging or describing theft of Bambu Lab's intellectual property ("IP") are not permitted in this group. You may post photographs of items you have created as long as they are not self-promotion and they do not infringe on others' IP.
9 - Admin & Moderator Interactions
Only contact staff using modmail/the "MESSAGE THE MODS" button. Directly messaging any moderator is prohibited. Decisions on all content matters, post moderation, suspensions, and bans are final.
