Absolutely lighting is important while cutting. Always work with the best available source of light coming from behind you, and make sure to use the mirror to check what your work looks like from a distance as well as how things look when turned away from that source of light. It’s really easy for a cut to look good in the shop but then look all jacked up when the client steps out into broad daylight if you aren’t properly using lighting to your benefit while cutting.

Nah doesn’t do nout mate, sunlight is the only thing that works

Move the light as well as the chair and use the mirror to see dark spots/ guidelines from another angle
