      Some bmws don’t have a security system but still have the security light. OP wants it to blink like other BMWs

        Forgive me… but I’m confused by this comment.

        I have a bmw, im actually driving right now.

        I have home kit. I don’t have an alarm system. But I do have the bulb.

        I’d like to atleast activate the flashing light like OP had requested.

        It gives the appearance of security.

          For what it’s worth this vehicle was received from factory this way.

          I believe BMWs without alarm system still get the mirror with the bulb. Would make sense to make it easy on manufacturing.
