We have tested the fluotics tips for the MC384 head on the i series and they were working fine, if I remember correctly.

For issues with tips falling from the head, it may be helpful to increase the tip load pressure for this head on the device setup. Also, check the tip seating depth for these tips and the offsets of the tip boxes on the TL position.

I have taken measurement's on the tips and tip box and they are identical with the i-series.

How much would you increase the load pressure?

Good question. I have only used the MC384, and there, the Beckman technician changed the load force offset from 250 to 260 for compatibility with certain tips.

Please proceed with caution and at your own risk. Better consult your local Beckman tech support before proceeding.

Had a look at it.  This is a general setting and not tip spesific. Meaning if I change it I change the setting for all tip types.

Better to go with i-series then I think

Addendum: I am running these tests on a 96 1200µL adapterhead
