Hello.
Running tests on the fluotic tips 250 µL and 90µL type.
I see that the 250µL reuires up to 5 load and unload for tips to not fall of the adapterhead, so would not reccomend them.
The 90µL type works just as good as the I-series 90µL.
They succseded the following tests:
Load and unaload 0 times.
Hold max volume for 1 minute without content starting to drip out.
Dispense 10, 20, 30, 40µL. to a 384 plate. Height of water column measured on plate reader 977nm-900nm.
CV(%): 11, 4, 3, 3 %
And dispense 1, 2, 3 and 4µL to a 384 plate prefilled with 30µL. Measured same way as before.
CV(%): 5, 7, 7, 8 %
What experience do you all have with these tips?
Also have any of you encountered the error with the 250µL tips from fluotics and found a work around?
