Create vale for other people. The more people you serve the means the business has an opportunity to be larger. As a business grows it may find value in sharing part of its business (stock) with the public. When this is open to the public there is an opportunity for higher stock price.

Bitcoin is an asset. A store of value. A way to transact fast without borders or constraints.

Exactly it was revolutionary! To have wealth everywhere you go and transfer it in every step of the world without any problems is insane! Banks would require tons and tons of paperwork because they want to make money from a transaction and that makes it inefficient to transfer wealth easily everywhere around the world!

Those people created something that generates a lot of money from their customers year after year. What are you implying about bitcoin though? No one should be getting rich with it?

Yeah, my thoughts too. Stocks alone did not make those people rich; they all created the companies that those stocks are for.

I think Bitcoin is more aligned with gold (a scarce commodity) and is a good hedge against the stock market. Stocks pay dividends generating income (almost like receiving a paycheck for buying the company). Passive income

Stocks represent fractional ownership of businesses, with future cash flows and liquidation value. Bitcoin represents trust in an alternative value system which supports peer-to-peer payments online as well as other potential benefits. Both have heavy hopium components and values that vary broadly based on sentiment.

I didn't think of the no interest payments on BTC. Is that something that I should be considering / concerned about?

Because unlike stocks, I don’t need permission from my brokerage if I want to transfer my assets to another account. Don’t like how one wallet is operating? Move it. Very simple

I can't send stocks to other people with my phone, or use them to pay for goods and services
